ABOUT US

Meet the Therapist

Madison Alvarez Brunk, MA, NCC,

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

I'm Madison (she/her), a community-driven counselor and organizer. I take a collaborative approach to facilitate meaningful change for those who consult me. I understand that problems extend beyond individual thoughts or behaviors, encompassing relational systems and social contexts. Drawing from a foundation in narrative therapy and other collaborative treatment orientations, I can guide you in finding the right way forward.

I hold a license as a Mental Health Counselor in Florida and am a National Certified Counselor recognized by NBCC. Currently, I serve as the secretary for the Florida Association of Marriage and Family Counseling (FAMFC). I completed my master's degree in marriage, couple, and family therapy at UCF, and earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Saint Leo University. In 2021, I successfully completed a year-long training program in narrative therapy.
